Sam Fordlay
Sam's interest in understanding how things work started early and never really stopped.
He began his career as a start-up co-founder, transforming Seabung from an idea on paper into a fully realised product. Taking it through patent application to market launch, the marine safety device gained national attention on BBC's Dragons Den and earned multiple industry awards including a Dame Design Award and a Pittman Innovation Award.
That success led to a role within the engineering design team at Dyson. Working inside one of the world's most advanced engineering environments helped him refine the methodology that drives Sam today: rigorous, insight-led, grounded in real problems.
Now, as lead consultant, he brings that approach to global brands and consultancies facing complex design challenges. Alongside client work, he supervises research with leading UK universities.
